Family Day
Join us for a day focused on family! Start the morning with Life Groups at 9:00 am, followed by a special worship service at 10:30 am. After the service, we’ll head over to Choccolocco Park to enjoy a family picnic together.
Student beach Camp
Make the most of your summer and join us for Student Beach Camp at the Cottages Christian Retreat in Panama City Beach, FL on June 12-15.
Beach camp is open to all students 6th grade - 12th grade completed.
Cost is $250 for students, $150 for chaperones, Cost includes travel, lodging, and most meals. (Students will need money for 2 fast food meals during travel).
Register after May 17, Cost increases to $275
Kids Camp
Life can be loud, busy, and distracting, and hearing God’s voice above the noise can be quite a challenge. Sometimes we need to get away to get near. This summer, Kids Camp will challenge your child to “Unplug.” Kids will experience fellowship with friends through archery, swimming, canoeing, team building, Bible study, and tons of fun.
"Unplugged" is open to completed 2nd through 6th grade (rising 3rd through rising 7th graders).
Cost is $200 for campers; $150 for camp counselors. Cost includes all activities, meals, and a t-shirt

Intentional Legacy Senior Adult Conference
Senior adult join us for 3 days filled with the Word, Worship, Laughter.
Monday, March 2 - Experience the word with Dr.Richard Trader
Tuesday, March 3 - Experience worship with Frank Jones
Wednesday, March 4 - Experience laughter with christian comedian Debbie Childers
Lunch will available to purchase on Monday and Wednesday for $5 per person at the door.
Kids Mission Weekend
Kids Mission Weekend is a special event tailored for children from Preschool to 6th Grade. The kids will all have the opportunity to learn and work on various mission projects that make a positive impact in our local community, across the nation, and around the world. The theme for this year is "Here, there, and everywhere," with our scripture focus being Romans 10:13-15.
Children in 1st-6th grade will participate from 5 pm on Friday to 2 pm on Saturday, while Pre-K and kindergarten children will be there from 8 am to 12 pm on Saturday.
Cost is $40 (1-6th grade) | $30 (Preschool - Kindergarten)
Night to Shine
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for individuals with special needs ages 14 and older. Join us on February 13 at Parker Memorial Baptist Church for a night filled with celebration, joy, and the reminder that every person is uniquely created and deeply loved by God. Intentional Weekend
Join us for a weekend of intentional connection with special guests Jeff & Rachel Lovingood!
Saturday, January 31: The weekend begins with our Intentional Marriage Night. The cost is $50 per couple and includes a delicious dinner for two and childcare.
Sunday, February 1: We will host combined Life Groups for men and women, 7th grade and up. The ladies will be led by Rachel, and the men by Jeff, followed by a special worship service.

Student Winter Retreat
Students, join us for an incredible weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN at the Strength to Stand Conference!
This year’s lineup includes CeCe Winans, Chandler Moore, Scott Dawson, Tim Timberlake, Shane Pruitt, Preston Perry, Hulvey, and STS Worship This is a weekend filled with worship, and growing deeper in faith.

Chili and Soup Cook Off
Kick off the new year with our Men’s Ministry Soup & Chili Cook Off! This year features two categories, soup and chili, with friendly competition and plenty of delicious tastings. Donations will be accepted at the door to support our Student Winter Retreat.

Fall Frenzy is happening on October 25 from 4:00-6:00 pm in the FBC Oxford parking lot. Join us for a night of exciting free fall fun! We'll have inflatables, games, and of course candy!

T.E.A.M.S. Leadership Meeting
On August 17, we will have a life group leadership meeting for all T.E.A.M.S. leaders directly after church. Lunch will be provided.
Prayer Walk
Join us Sunday, August 10, as we go out into the community to pray over our local schools. We will meet at the church at 5 pm before heading out.
Men's Breakfast
Men, join us on August 9th for a morning of breakfast and fellowship with special guest Mike Parris, the voice of JSU athletics!
Hangar56 Fly-In (Bowling and Dinner)
Upcoming 5th and 6th graders join us for a fun night on August 2nd. We will have a quick Bible study at 3:30, then head to Big Time for Bowling and then Mangos for dinner. The cost for this event is $20
Senior Adult Oasis Conference 2025
Join us for a refreshing event for Senior Adults on July 31, 2025. We will leave the church at 10:30am and eat lunch at Sherry’s Cafe. Frank Jones will be your host and will also be performing on the OASIS stage, playing your favorite hymns and gospel songs. Guests will include comedian Mark Lowry and special music by Endless Highway. Cost is $25.
Kids Camp
Do you love Survivor?! Because you’re going to love Kids Camp 2025 - “Thriver”. Kids will get to see God doesn’t want us to merely survive but wants us to thrive. We are returning to The Vision in Huntsville. At this beautiful mountain retreat, we will enjoy swimming, archery, team building, Bible study, and worship each day centered around God’s promises. This camp experience is for those who have completed 2nd through 6th grade (rising 3rd through rising 7th graders).
Family Movie Night
Bring your lawn chairs and join us for a special Family Movie Night under the stars on Wednesday, June 18th at 6:30 PM in the parking lot! We’ll have plenty of popcorn, so invite your friends and enjoy a fun summer evening together!
VBS Fam Jam
Come experience VBS with us on Sunday, June 15. We will have breakfast, combined Life Groups and a special worship service highlighting VBS.
VBS 2025
Get ready for VBS! This year’s theme is Magnified, where we will discover God in the smallest of things. We will have classes for those 3 years old (potty-trained) through 5th grade (completed) for VBS and also have special VBX classes for grades 6th through 8th (completed). VBS Kickoff
Join us as we kick off VBS with the smallest of things on June 8. Bring the whole family to enjoy our petting zoo featuring mini goats, mini horses, rabbits, donkeys, and even a mini highland cow! Kids can take a ride on a pony, enjoy some food, and everyone can connect during this time of fellowship.

Men's Summer Bible Study Kickoff
Men, join us as we kick off our summer Bible study! Starting May 21, we’ll gather for food and fellowship, followed by weekly meetings every Wednesday night throughout the summer at the home of Bill Williams. Together, we’ll dive into the book of James.
End of School Bash

Student Spaghetti Fundraiser

Family Day - Parent & Student Luncheon
Join us for a luncheon specifically designed for students and their parents. Dr. Richard Ross will focus on "Restoring Heart Connections between Parents and Teenagers." This is a special time for families to come together and reconnect with one another.
Family Day - "Heart of Parenting"
Come celebrate Family Day 2025 with us! This year, we're excited to have Dr. Richard Ross as our special guest. Start your day off right with breakfast in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 8:15 am. Then at 9:00, Dr.Ross will be leading a combined and meaningful Life Group session for all parents and grandparents. At 10:30 we will have our regular Worship Service. Following the service that day, we have a special event planned for our families with teenagers. Lunch will be provided and Dr. Ross will lead us in a special session focusing on a Heart Connection between parents and their teens. You will not want to miss out on this great time!
